Don't get me wrong, I concur that Jamie and Charlotte could use a break, but it was strange. After the Moriarty drama of the last three books, this is a simpler, more prosaic, intimate little case that feels like a weird comedown. It felt pretty well different in some respects. It wasn't what I was hoping for or expecting, especially for what turns out to be the last book in the series (whiiiiiine). Honestly, this is fairly well different from the last three books and. I don't think I'm going to put this review below the spoiler cut though. ![]()
